The rules of the road.

1Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or otherwise using portfolio-iq.online ("PortfolioIQ", "we", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the service. These terms form a binding contract between you and Portfolio-IQ LLC, a US limited liability company, c/o Alfa Algorithms, Luxembourg.

2Eligibility & geographic limits

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legal contract in your jurisdiction.

Providing a false attestation is a material breach of these terms and may expose you to legal consequences in your jurisdiction. You're responsible for ensuring that using PortfolioIQ — including connecting brokerage accounts and trading prediction markets — is lawful where you live.

3Account & security

• Keep your password and any connected-wallet credentials confidential.
• You're responsible for any activity on your account.
• One account per person. Multiple accounts to circumvent limits or coupons may result in termination.
• Notify us immediately at team@portfolio-iq.online if you suspect unauthorized access.

4What PortfolioIQ is

PortfolioIQ is a software interface that helps you:

• Track stock, ETF, and crypto holdings imported manually or via supported brokerage connections.
• See AI-generated insights, theme correlations, and risk scores.
• Place prediction-market trades on Polymarket via a non-custodial wallet integration.

PortfolioIQ is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, custodian, or fiduciary. We do not custody your funds. We do not execute trades on your behalf — every transaction is signed by your wallet or routed through your linked brokerage's own system.

5Prediction markets via Polymarket

PortfolioIQ provides a software widget that interfaces with Polymarket, a third-party prediction-market platform operated independently of PortfolioIQ. The relationship between you and Polymarket — including all trades, settlements, fees, and disputes — is governed by Polymarket's own Terms of Service at polymarket.com/tos. You must review and accept Polymarket's terms separately.

What we are (and aren't)

• PortfolioIQ is a registered Polymarket Builder, which means we may receive a share of trading fees that Polymarket itself collects on trades initiated through our widget. This is paid by Polymarket, not by you on top of any other fee. Our builder code is publicly visible on-chain.
• We are not a counterparty to your trades. We are not the order book. We are not the oracle that resolves markets. We do not custody your USDC, USDC.e, pUSD, conditional tokens, or any other digital asset.
• All trades are non-custodial. You connect your own wallet via Reown / WalletConnect. You sign every order with your own keys. We never have signing authority over your wallet.

You acknowledge and accept

• Polymarket risk: prediction markets are speculative. Outcomes resolve binary — you can lose 100% of any stake placed. Past results are not indicative of future outcomes.
• Resolution disputes: Polymarket markets are resolved by Polymarket's chosen oracle (currently UMA). Resolution disputes, oracle disputes, malicious-question disputes, and any associated losses are governed exclusively by Polymarket and the oracle protocol — PortfolioIQ has no role and no liability in these processes.
• Smart contract risk: trades settle on the Polygon blockchain through smart contracts operated by Polymarket. Bugs, exploits, or chain reorganizations are outside PortfolioIQ's control.
• Wallet risk: if you lose your private keys, seed phrase, or wallet access, your funds may be unrecoverable. PortfolioIQ cannot recover wallet credentials.
• Geographic restrictions: Polymarket geofences certain jurisdictions (including the United States). PortfolioIQ's widget respects those restrictions. Attempting to bypass them violates these terms and Polymarket's terms.
• Tax obligations: you are solely responsible for reporting income, gains, losses, and any other tax consequences arising from prediction-market trades in your jurisdiction.
• No advice: AI-generated briefings, risk scores, theme correlations, and any other content surfaced by PortfolioIQ are informational only. They are not recommendations, solicitations, or guarantees of any outcome.

6Brokerage connections (SnapTrade / Plaid)

When you link a brokerage account through SnapTrade or Plaid, those providers act as the data conduit. Their terms and privacy policies apply alongside ours. PortfolioIQ receives read-only holdings data unless you explicitly enable trading (where supported). We never receive your broker password, and we never have authority to move money out of your brokerage account.

7Subscriptions, billing & refunds

• Paid plans (currently "Premium", $15/month or $150/year) renew automatically until canceled.
• Cancel anytime from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no pro-rated refunds for partial periods.
• Trials require a payment card. Trial periods (e.g., the 14-day Premium trial via the JOINX promo) convert automatically to a paid subscription and your card is charged when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then. We send a reminder email approximately 3 days before your trial ends.
• Certain features require a paid (non-trial) subscription — currently brokerage auto-import (SnapTrade) and Polymarket wallet-connect trading. These unlock after your first successful subscription charge.
• Failed payments may suspend your access until resolved.
• 7-day refund window: if you're unhappy, email us within 7 days of your first subscription charge and we'll refund it in full. After that window, and for renewal charges, refunds are at our discretion. Email team@portfolio-iq.online with subject "Refund request".
• We use Stripe for payment processing. Their terms apply to the payment portion of your transaction.

8Coupons & promo codes

Promotional codes (e.g., JOINX) are non-transferable, non-stackable, limited to one redemption per user unless stated otherwise, and may be revoked or modified at any time at our discretion. Abuse — including creating multiple accounts to redeem the same code repeatedly — may result in termination and reversal of any benefits granted.

9Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use PortfolioIQ to violate any law or regulation.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the service.
• Bypass authentication, rate limits, or geographic restrictions.
• Impersonate another person or use false information.
• Use the AI features to generate harassing, illegal, or fraudulent content.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the service without written consent.

10No financial advice

11Risk disclosures

Investing in securities and trading prediction markets involves substantial risk:

• Market risk: stocks, ETFs, cryptocurrencies, and prediction markets can lose value, including total loss.
• Liquidity risk: some markets are thinly traded; you may not be able to exit at the displayed price.
• Technology risk: price feeds, brokerage syncs, blockchain confirmations, and other infrastructure can be delayed, inaccurate, or temporarily unavailable.
• Counterparty risk: brokers, exchanges, and prediction-market platforms can become insolvent or restrict withdrawals.
• Data risk: portfolio data shown in PortfolioIQ may be stale or wrong; always cross-reference with your broker's statement of record.

12Intellectual property

PortfolioIQ — including the name, logo, software, design, and content — is the property of Portfolio-IQ LLC and its licensors. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service per these terms. You retain ownership of data you input.

13Disclaimers & warranties

PortfolioIQ is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any data shown is accurate or timely.

14Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Portfolio-IQ LLC, its affiliates (including Alfa Algorithms), officers, employees, or contractors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, business, or opportunity — arising out of or related to your use of PortfolioIQ, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to PortfolioIQ in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 100.

15Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Portfolio-IQ LLC and its affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, or damages — including reasonable attorneys' fees — arising out of (a) your use of the service, (b) your violation of these terms, (c) your violation of any third party's rights, or (d) your trading activity on Polymarket or any connected brokerage.

16Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, suspected fraud, abuse of promo codes, security risk, or for any other reason at our discretion. You may close your account anytime from your dashboard. On termination, your right to use the service ends; provisions that should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, governing law) will survive.

17Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state and federal courts located in Delaware. You waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in any class action.

For users in the European Union: nothing in these terms removes your statutory consumer rights.

18Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes get at least 14 days' notice via email or in-app banner. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
